    2010 SS steering problems.....

Is there a power steering known issue for this year SS?

When the motor is idling or even at low RPMs while driving slow, my wheel is tough to turn. When I first drive in the day, when I first start it, the idle is higher and the steering works fine. But once it warms up, or whatever, and the idle goes down, the steering is tough again.

I can temporarily fix it by revving the car up, but this cant be normal and I figure something is wrong.

Does anyone have experience with this?

    Thank you.

i've had the same issue, you have to try to get all the air out. What you need to try is to elevate the front tires off the ground, and cut the engine. Turn the steering wheel from left to right, all the way both ways, about a dozen times. With the wheels still elevated, turn the car on. Then do the same thing, turning the steering left to right all the way each way, about a dozen more times. Lower the front again and check if the issue is fixed.
If the issue is still there, you probably need a new pump. Goodluck.
