Smile What do you guys think of Summit Racing drag shocks?

My 2001 SS's shocks are wearing out and I am thinking of replacing them with some drag shocks from summit racing. Do you all have any thoughts on summit shocks, and should I go drag shocks at all? I want to start going to the strip with this car but only for fun and rarely. I need it to drive well on the street too.

Since you will only drag race sometimes, or rarely, that figures into the answer.

If you are only into getting drag shocks, the car will not handle well on the street. For the best street handling I would go with bilstein SLP. The drag shocks are made to drop the rear end to the ground on takeoff so the weight is more on the rear tires. In the street environment, you'd probably have issues with those.

But of course its up to you.
